With only 10 bikes in existence currently being ridden hard by the Hope Technology staff, the Hope HB.211 must be one of the rarest bikes at the show. We first showed you the bike in April. The 160 mm bike was built as a design exercise by engineers freed from the confines of existing standards; as such, the bike features a 17 mm rear axle and a radially mounted disk brake. Manufactured in-house in the UK, Hope are yet to confirm if this bike will ever see full production, but with Hope showing increasing interest in the black magic of carbon fibre, who knows! All we can do is watch this space.
