Alpinestars Pathfinder Shorts

Everyone has at least one piece of kit that they just won’t give up, insisting on wearing it at every opportunity. This is exactly our habit with the Alpinestars Pathfinder Shorts, which have become a firm favourite in the office these days. Lightweight and robustly built, the Pathfinder shorts meet every demand that we’d expect from a decent pair of riding shorts. There’s the ideal amount of movement, breathability, and durability. Stretchy inserts guarantee a comfortable fit, and Alpinestars have given them the ultimate cut, rendering them neither too baggy nor too tight. There are also Velcro straps on the side of the waist for fit adjustment – a feature that’s particularly appreciated after an extra slice of Apfelstrudel at a mountain hut. If you’re wearing knee pads, then you’d be wise to pick longer shorts to avoid the inevitable, amateurish gap between shorts and pads. The padded inner shorts do their job with aplomb and ensure comfort for long hours in the saddle. Even after countless trail rides and washing cycles, the Pathfinders still cut a fine figure, which is surely testament to their durability. Considering the performance, the price tag of € 119.95 seems justified.
