It’s fair to say that everyone is talking about Pole bikes. Their unique performance-driven approach to geometry has got the media super-excited and the riding community questioning their current rides. However, geometry is something that is best tried in person and it’s not easy finding a Pole to ride. Pole have the answer, releasing news of their European Tour 2018.
Riding a bike on your home trails is always the best way to measure performance, whether you’re after raw speed, huge air miles or just want more confidence and stability, familiar trails are where it counts. We spent a full season riding the Pole EVOLINK 140 on our home trails and were super impressed, you can read our experiences here. Over the Spring, Pole will be travelling around Europe, bringing the bikes to you! With a full fleet of demo bikes and assistance with setup, curious riders can experience their geometry concepts first hand. The Demo Tour managers will be on hand to assist with setup and explain the unique concepts of Poles bikes, so if you’ve been wondering if a more radical geometry is for you, there has never been a better time to get involved.

The Pole Machine needs little introduction, a fully machined frame from aerospace 7075 T6 aluminium, this is one the most exciting bike of 2018! With huge 180/160 mm travel from the 29” wheels, super low standover height, a slack 63.9° head angle and long 455 mm chainstays the geometry screams speed. This is the bike that started the fire for Pole, a 140 mm 29er that would happily to chase down the world’s fastest enduro bikes. With the distinctive Pole geometry this is a bike that can handle everything from long day rides to smashing DH tracks or going against the clock inside the tape.
