Racing | Enduro Girls of Finale Ligure

The women’s field in the Enduro World Series is now stronger than ever, and while we were in Finale Ligure for the final round of the year we caught up a with a few of the ladies who were there riding! Unfortunately we couldn’t meet all of them so here are a select few that we bumped into over the weekend.

Cécile Ravanel

Cécile Ravanel of the Commencal Vallnord Enduro Team took her meta to a 2nd place finish which also helped her to secure 2nd place in the overall standings. Her husband Cedric (also riding for Commencal) finished 33rd in the mens.

Ines Thoma

Ines Thoma of the Canyon Factory Enduro Team took her maiden podium finish in Finale aboard her Strive! She was obviously super happy about this result as it also helped Canyon to secure the team overall!

Tracy Moseley

Tracy Moseley took yet another win in Finale and wrapped up the series overall after a near perfect season. She has now taken the overall 3 times in a row.

Franzi Meyer

Medical student Franzi Meyer rides on a Nicolai ION 16. She finished the race in Finale in 21st place, having previously finished 4th at the recent EES event in Paganella.

Isabeau Courdurier

Isabeau Courdurier placed 10th in Finale to secure 4th in the overall for the Rockymountain URGE bp Rally Team. She had a difficult weekend after a mechanical on stage 1 and was also battling an illness all weekend.

Hannah Barnes

British rider Hannah Barnes piloted a Specialized Enduro around the stages of Finale, which were very different to her home trails of Fort William.

Sara De Leo

Italian rider on an Italian bike! Sara De Leo rides on a Ancilotti FRY. for Dream Team Genova. She finished the weekend in 20th place.

Nina Mezcua-Jensen

24 year old shredder Nina is a law student who lives in Copenhagen and rides on a mean looking Banshee Rune for 222 cycles!

Chiara Pastore

The local Italian girls were out in force! A Santa Cruz Nomad was Chiara's weapon of choice as she rode to a 27th place with a total race time of just over 50 minutes.

Laura Rossin

Laura lives close to Finale in Imperia and rides a Devinci Spartan for the Tracce team, she ended up in 18th place after the 5 stages of racing.

Pauline Dieffenthaler

Pauline has many roles, she manages to juggle being a rider for cannondale as well as the manager/girlfriend of Jerome Clementz! She ended up inside the top 10 with a solid 8th place position.

Natalie Schneitter

Natalie rides for the ROSE Vaujany team and is a member of the Swiss National Cross Country Team. She finished in 11th place only 2 seconds away from the top 10, not a bad effort considering it was her first ever enduro race in Finale!
