Yeti Launch More Affordable SB6 Enduro Bike

We have spent a lot of time on the Yeti SB6c and have found it a superbike in every way. The ride and performance are unquestioned and the looks are simply jaw dropping. However, super does not come cheap and we have always struggled with the SB6c’s high price tag. But with the new SB6 Enduro Bike all that is about to change!

Here is the news direct from Yeti: The 152 mm travel SB6 Enduro is begging to get out on your next enduro, gravity or backcountry adventure with you. Using the same geometry of the two times EWS gold medal winning SB6c, Yeti rework the Carbon fibre frame layup – adding just 200 grams in weight – to hit an amazing price without compromising on the bikes stiffness, strength or performance out on the trail. Aggressively equipped parts, an efficient pedalling platform and Yeti’s Switch Infinity suspension all make the SB6 Enduro a force to be reckoned with on descents and on the climbs.
Features of the Yeti SB6 Enduro
– Switch Infinity patented suspension system with Kashima coated shafts
– High modulus Carbon Fibre main frame and swing arm
– Collet axle system on pivots reduces bearing wear
– Integrated ISCG mounts
– Tapered inset headtube (44mm/56mm)
– Custom chain-slap guards
– Internal cable routing
– Integrated axle and derailleur hanger system

Our Impressions of the Yeti SB6 Enduro
We are pleased to see Yeti rolling out a more affordable model in the impressive SB6 Enduro lineup. While £4,599 / €5,990 is still a big lump of money to hand over, if it rides like the SB6c the SB6 Enduro will be going head to head with bikes that will struggle to match it’s race winning premium performance. We look forward to testing one very soon.
The Yeti SB6 Enduro will be available in late July and full details and specifications can be found on the Yeti Website.
