PIVOT MACH 4 CARBON – High-end, lightweight trail bike from the USA

For smaller male riders or female bikers: the Pivot Mach 4 Carbon shown here in a size XS.

The former PIVOT MACH 4 Carbon put on a storming show in a past group test, so we were stoked to see that the American team have given it a major overhaul. For the coming season the MACH 4 Carbon has an even stiffer rear end with more tire clearance and a diverse range of build specs. There’s the choice between the more XC-orientated build with FOX 32 forks or a trail-focused set-up with FOX 34 forks to render it even beastlier on the descents. Typical for Pivot, the new MACH 4 Carbon comes in five frame sizes (XS to Large (Long)). Forget XL; Pivot’s Large (Long) approach teams a low standover height with an extended frame, as it has the same seattube length as the large).
