Santa Cruz Hightower LT

The defining trend of the 2017 and 2018 season, without a doubt, are potent 29er Enduro- and Trail bikes. California cult brand Santa Cruz already has a brilliant trail bike with the Hightower in their portfolio, yet 135 mm of travel was a bit too short for some. All hail the Santa Cruz Hightower LT! The EWS pros had been racing the new bike for quite a while before Santa Cruz presented it to the public – so it’s race proven!

The front triangle corresponds 1:1 to the regular Hightower, but thanks to a new rear triangle, the shock absorber now provides 150 mm of travel. Together with the appropriate 150 mm forks, the steering and seat angles of the LT are slightly slacker, while hardly affecting the remaining dimensions. In contrast to its little brother, the Hightower LT neither has a geometry adjustment flip-chip nor the possibility of running 27,5+ wheels – something the intended rider probably won’t miss anyway.
