Whyte S-150

Whyte S150 Full Review Enduro Magazine 3740 1140x760

Whyte, the small UK brand little known outside of Great Britan, has caused quite a stir over the past few years, and rightly so as it has a few damn good bikes to offer. Their latest stroke of British genius is the S-150, a long-travel 29er with a full 150 mm of travel. Whyte places great emphasis on the geometry of their bikes, and the S-150 also offers a unique new feature: the offset of the fork is 42 mm, 9 mm shorter than with regular 29 forks. The RockShox forks are specially designed for Whyte, intended to make the bike even more stable at high speeds.

The components of the S-150 make it equally clear that the bike belongs in rough terrain and fit perfectly for the application. The S in S-150 stands for Switchable since the S-150 can be shod with either 29er or 27.5+ wheels. Whether the bike is as convincing in practice, we’ll clarify in our review of the Whyte S-150.
