The 661 EVO KNEE is a true classic and a pioneer amongst soft knee pads. The team at 661 have worked hard to improve the fit of the latest EVO KNEE II, now adopting a pre-moulded protector with many manufacturers following suit. A new feature is the PADLOCK system, which allows you to attach the kneepads to 661’s matching protector shorts. In the lab the 661 delivered a solid performance, convincing the test crew with decent scores. The revised shape still brings a good fit, but a few test riders noted some friction and pinching, particularly from the opening of the kneepad and in the hollow of their knee. In short, the EVO KNEE II is a great contender but no rival for the elite knee pads on test.
