Saracen Ariel LT

Saracen Cycles EUROBIKE 2017 001 1140x760
The Saracen Ariel LT is as sexy as it is unknown.

Saracen isn’t a brand many people know, but that could change soon if one considers the new Ariel LT. This carbon bike isn’t only a looker; it also comes with a well thought out mix of components. The Ariel LT is based around 27.5″ DT Swiss M1900 wheels with MAXXIS Minion DHF / DHR tan wall tires. The ride is controlled by state-of-the-art FOX suspension consisting of the Float 36 Factory fork with 170 mm of travel, as well as the Float X2 Factory shock offering 165 mm of travel at the rear. Gear shifts and braking is taken care of by Shimano’s XT groupset, 1x of course. If 6000 € for the model shown here is too expensive, there is a stripped-down aluminium version available for 4,199 € – but we find the looks of the Ariel LT alone justify the price.
