Pole Machine

The Pole Machine is probably the most radical innovation we’ve seen in a long time and is therefore included in our list. Due to the unique manufacturing process the Pole Machine challenges all conventions even before putting rubber on the trail: the frame consists of two CNC milled halves which are joined together with a special gluing process and some screws.

The geometry is unconventional too; with 180/160 mm of travel, 510 mm reach in size L and a 63.9° head-angle Pole’s 29er is in a class of its own. The maths seem to work out and allow the Pole Machine to inspire with almost endless reserves on the most demanding trails without feeling slow on flat trails. The faster you ride the better the bike feels — a real masterpiece!
